PLEXIGLAS®Today we would like to inform you how to use PLEXIGLAS® in exhibition floor covers. Exhibition floor covers made of light tiles with PLEXIGLAS® LED (EndLighten) A very special floor cover was used at Volvo exhibition booth at the Geneva Motor Show 2011: illuminated floor covers made of 40 mm thick light tiles and designed to withstand the weight of cars. “Lighpanel floor” is a product from the german company Axis that fulfils these requirements. It can be produced with a minimum thickness of only 15 mm and the weight of driving cars cannot damage this product. Furthermore it is formable. With 122 pieces of illuminated tiles, it is very important to illuminate every single tile homogeneously. Therefore PLEXIGLAS® LED (EndLighten) has been illuminated with RGB-LEDs. PLEXIGLAS® LED (EndLighten) enables the construction of extremely slim, compact luminous panels with high light output only with light fed into the sheet edge. „Lightpanel floor“ is a solid-built system with safety glass on the top.PLEXIGLAS® LED (EndLighten) PLEXIGLAS® LED (EndLighten) for lighting design with outstanding alternatives. This product can be used as partitions, luminaries or for ambient lighting. Light changing effects with controllable RGB-LEDs in restaurants or shop fitting applications create an attention-grabbing atmosphere.
